Is there any lore on Manticore? Inspecting the wreckage on a downed Guardian Sentinel I came across the following text.
DR-07
MANTICORE (Named after a mythical creature[human/guardian hybrid?] or the name of the group that built it.)
Along with the Guardian logo

Has a secret human group already discovered and are now protecting the sites, or is this just something FDev missed?
Or it could be the textures for the tech broker sentinel we get to unlock and they used the same art resources.

Weird reference. Manticore is a "man-eater", lion with wings and a scorpion tail. Thought to be derived from the tiger.

How do you mean you "Came across" the following text? Is it written on the wreckage? Screenshot?

Cegreeth is the home system for the Manticore Munitions, an Imperial Corporate minor faction, which is a hand-created NPC faction (placed at the behest of FD, not a player group). They are currently also present in four other systems. Inara entry.

I believe that's the sum total of pre-existing lore on Manticore.

Manticore is a trading company or a manufacturer. This name is written on large containers
