Manufacturing Instructions

I always take an SRV. Scavs in the open don't use the Green Cross Code very well so they're easy to run over. And that's actually quite fun to do - especially when their corpse flies off into the distance.

Nah.
Doing the initial missions in a store bought G3 suit and weapons and having to deal with a shutdown pitch black settlement (especially when you arrive in an Apex and cannot ID the layout from air using ship's Nightvision) - well, it has it's share of thrills and charms.
Having to deal with 12-18 Scav in an yet-to-be-recognized settlement layout, in pitch black, with no night vision, certainly raises the adrenalin levels.

However, that doesnt mean i didnt get NightVision on my suits as soon as i was able to... 😂
Yes, but a grade 5 L6 rocket launcher..... ammo clip and fast reload ooh ooooh hooooo bboooooiiiiiiiii.....

My thinking on my weapon mods, for both an eclipse and aphelion, will be:

Stowed reload
Stability
Ammo clip size
Greater accuracy

Those builds will be purely for CZ's.

Not sure if anyone has other ideas...

Funny you should say that - and completely OT - I had to deal with 30 the other day. 22 were already at the settlement. No, I didn't go all on foot to do it :D Good job I took my missile barge with me.

Never seen anything like it before or since.
I had 32 at a shutdown military settlement earlier in the week.
Done from the SRV turret but I was under 20%fuel hunting down the last one.

I suggest to go with Headshot dmg instead of greater accuracy, since laser is hitscan weapon, it makes easiest weapon to score headshots with. It also makes enemy with silver of health left, easier to kill off over distance, without needing to swap weapon. And on aphelion, it turns it into laser sniper rifle, that is viable even at High CZ.

Excellent! Thanks!

Np ;)

I also suggest make another copy of that very aphelion for use in dual setup with dominator.

And try dual aphelion with that stowed reload setup. Instead of reloading, you swap them around, wich is about twice as fast than reload, and entire clip on full auto to zero clip, its about time when it reloads itself. It does ton of dmg, and its most effective weapon setup for long range cuz yeah, hitscan. A very cool sniper bulid, and most effective of all "sniper" bulids out there.

Its about abusing hitscan ability of aphelion (along its dmg, and fact that that laser cant be avoided) with its already high range of 70m, wich makes this weapon dont care about falloff at all. And distance being no problem with hitting targets, cuz you dont need predict where to aim like with projectiles or plasma, wich are kind of slow for FPS game like that. With other weapons, you wont be able to hit those soliders moving around at sprint, neither flying/running players, and with that setup, you can hit them quite hard, no matter of distance, provided they are in line of sight.

When you use only one aphelion, soon as you need reload, and if you aint had 90% headshot hit rate, its very likely to have target left with bit of health, at time when you ran of ammo at clip, and thats very likely if you fight a high CZ enforcer (or another player if they spam health kits), while any other npcs should die easly enough to single clip. At distance, you aim at upper torso area and you will get headshots that way.

Having stowed means you need only swap to another aphelion and go on and you can continue to fire and keep pressure. And you can do that until you ran of ammo from both of them.

Forget the magazine size mod (less reloads from the suit available) and use that slot for something else as you are going for stowed reload. Add ammo capacity to the suit to give more ammo overall.

Cheers.

However, that would mean doing another Dom suit for extra ammo cap :(

How about:

Stower reload
Stability
Head shot damage

Then reload speed or faster handling?

Range deceases falloff damage. I only have stowed on my L6s, since I'm not using that all the time. I just get in the habit of reloading whenever I've finished using my weapon, or when I'm taking cover, or moving between objectives, ....

Right, well, I had enough mats to do this:

Now I need to see how it performs as to how I "build" a new Eclipse. Or I may just use two Aphelions :D

What a waste of a good wep...

Why not used mag size on aphelion?? 25 vs 38 is quite diffrence in ability to kill with that wep before need reload/stowin, stowed reload works better with mag upgrade than with reload speed. An aphelion with just 25 clip wont kill a high CZ npcs, maybe only a sharpshooter cuz they got least of HP, but sirusly, that 25 clip aphelion will struggle to kill most of single high CZ enemy without need to reload or stow. Its not really suited for dual aphelion snipe bulid anymore, but it can be used with kinetics instead as only shieldstrip wep, I guess.

Secondly, an dedicated high CZ dominator suit its preety much standard to have extra ammo with it, no? Unless someone really likes being stick next to ammo crates or visit it each few kills. 2-3 extra mag never hurts, and with extra mag size, makes that these weapons have enough spare ammo to not have worry about thing such as having "less" reloads available, lol.

Oh well, each to its own.
