So in JPOG you could only open so many dig sites. Which means you can only have some many dinosaurs! You could never have one of every species! Also, on Zoo tycoon which is also made by Frontier, you can only have so much in your park before they say you can't place anything else! Before someone says its not known yet, What are you all thoughts about limits on the parks??

I got the deluxe edition as well! Im really hoping its not. I feel like that was a real downfall of JPOG! With th amount of dinosaurs in the new game i think they might have put a limitation on it. It really is going to suck if they do!
JPOG limitations on the number of Dinosaurs you could have was mainly a console issue. On the PC JPOG could be modded to allow even more Dinosaurs in the parks. I modded mine to allow 999. One of the devs said if you wanted 100 of some Dinosaur species in your park then you could do it. That's a bit more than JPOG but we don't know if that's an actual limit. If there is a limit on the number of Dinosaurs allowed in the parks then blame consoles cause it would be something that is done to better optimize the game for consoles. I just hope the PC won't be limited cause that's the platform I will be playing the game on.
Hopefully there is a config-file on PC where we can change values like that.
