I wonder how big the maps are in PC2. In the many videos on YouTube the maps look incredibly small compared to PC1. As far as I know the maps in Planet Zoo are much bigger than in PC1, so I hope that we get similar sizes for PC2 as in PZ. And it would also be nice if they were flat.

Is it known if the maps are smaller or larger than in PC1?

Aren’t the maps in Planet Zoo also 1000x1000m, as the case in Planet Coaster? But either way, I also really hope that we still get the option to build way bigger than that.

This is it! It doesn’t really matter how big the map is. It comes down to piece count and number of visitors.

Depends on what you want to do in the game. For instance if you want to recreate some original parks that are more spread out it is essential to have the bigger map.

With the resort theme I really want to create an actual resort with multiple parks so a mega map would be great. Also they better have scenario editor so I can make a huge park again!

Are the maps now larger, the same size, or smaller than in PC1? Are the maps flat in sandbox mode? I'm still debating whether or not to buy the game. And the size of the maps is an important factor. If someone could tell me (or show me), I would be very grateful. Honest answers only, please.

The maps are the same size as maximum PC 1: 1km by 1km = 100 hectar = 247 Acres. (roughly the size of a large PC1 map)

At the start of the game you will think they are smaller, but this is due that Frontier scaled everything down about roughly 20%, nothing wrong with that, but if you are used to PC1, you need a bit of time to get used to.

The maps are 95% empty / flat, you have some stray hills on the edges, which are more naturally connection/park boundaries.
