I'm about to give up on her as not finding Osmium whether mining for it or though a carrier. Inara is full of shxt about who has it.

It's in the rings directly outside Jacques station - loads of it. Drop into the A-ring anywhere that's not a POI. Fire a prospector at any slow moving rock. If it has Osmium, start lasering the rock. The A-ring is metallic. the B-ring is rocky, so no Osmium.

Finally got some mining and hopefully I refined it. Being new at this was an exercise and learn more about rings.

You can also just buy it and even bring Osmium from the bubble. Some carriers there sell it usually and some carriers in Colonia do it as well.
