Masslock of anaconda

You can. This thread is about mass locking a heavy ship. When you are a flying a light ship, then... what...?
He wants to be able to catch them and be able to stop them from entering FSD if they don't want to fight so that he can try to kill them and run away if he fails.

Where did i say you can't escape with a big ship? Didn't ask any remove of mass-lock.
I just suggested a TOOL TO INTERRUPT A FSD CHARGE.
This tool has ammo.
Which is just fancy wording for the same thing. Interrupting FSD is the same as stopping them from running away, and you know it.

If this guy can do it, anybody can:

Anyway, sometimes it almost seems like "balance" means "fair", almost.
We call it so because of

Sorry paint:D

But different meaning is also present.

Completely against the lore, though. There is no artificial gravity, no "graviton field projectors" or the like in ED

Care to explain how a capital ship or anaconda (with 31 crew members) functions without some kind of artificial gravity?

A viper has a small chance to beat a Anaconda.
Yes he can run away because he is faster but he can also die while trying.

While a Anaconda, currenlty, can run EASELY when he (may be) is in difficulty.
That's the unbalance
That's make useless and NO interest for any small ships try to kill a bigger ship!

Is that hard to understand?

Total rubbish. For a Viper to take down even a moderately well piloted 'conda, three things have to happen: 1: The 'conda pilot needs to let his fangs hang out and stick around. 2: The Viper pilot needs to be good enough to keep constant fire on the 'conda while staying out of the 'conda's most effective firing arcs. 3: The Viper pilot has to be confident enough to stay in close quarters with the 'conda, even in the face of damage, because if he goes boom&zoom, on his second pass he'll find himself in the 'conda's frontal firing arc at extended range and that's not a place any sensible Viper pilot will put himself.

If either pilot is not committed to the fight, or loses that commitment in the face of an adverse outcome, he can leave.
If either pilot chooses the wrong tactics, he can die.

You smell that? Smells like balance to me.

I'll wholeheartedly support this RIGHT around the time all the Viper pilots agree to game alterations that prevent them from being able to run away from my Anaconda. So, y'know. When Hell freezes over. =P

If he has a carrot he should prove that he can hold against ships other than carrot.

I don't like it, as it can't catch any fast ship, can't kill them. But if balance remains in current state soon we face with anaconda pirates whose will live around stations and killing nothing but traders. And they will be invincible as they just logoffsky if they see hostile anaconda.

now your running around in circles ... lets solve 1 problem at a time logoffsky is a separate issue that affects all ships not just the conda

also the biggest problem with conda vs anything is IF the anaconda receives damage it will be a BIG repair bill ... hence most players just avoid the whole problem

when we see greafers (not pirates) playing in anacondas thats when you know they cant keep it up for long unless they start to work for their credits ... 1 mistake = milions

TL: DR dont fix it if it aint broke !
