Material gathering, fast as

Somebody posted a reply to a thread on here within the last few days explaining the absolute optimal means of filling up all 3 of your material categories in the shortest time possible, and now I can't find the post. Anyone?

Plot a route through various states (Boom, War, Civil War, Outbreak, Unrest, etc) and hop from system to system, scanning the Nav beacon and going to the HGSS. Bring collector limpets to make it fast. You'll get a LOT of G5 mats and some G4 mats. After filling up on G4/G5 mats, head to the mat trader. After about two hours, you'll have more than enough of all G5 mats except Bioconductors and Exquisite Focus Crystals. For those, get allied with local factions at a system and do the Get Resource missions (cobalt, bauxite, gold, silver, tritium, palladium, bryllium, etc) that offer 3 to 5 of these two G5 mats. It saves time to filter the Navigation panel to exclude everything but nav beacon and signal sources.

Aye I've heard about this method, thanks very much...however...
This guy mentioned 3 very specific places / things to do where you could rinse and repeat, boring, but apparently waaaaaay faster than doing it "legit". Pretty sure he mentioned quitting to desktop too to reset spawns or something.

I don't believe that HGSS method is faster than the one I suggested. AND, it requires use of mat traders to get the G5 mats which is very inefficient. My method gets all G5 mats except Bioconductors and Exquisite Focus Crystals and you get lots of exploration data. If you fly an armed ship, you can break the boredom by stopping by the Compromised Nav or Haz RES and collect bounties and mats. Of course, you can trade other G5 mats for those but why bother when you could earn high profit, have fun, AND get those two G5 mats at the same time. I recommend keeping the game fun.

HGEs (long timer ones, once collected log out the game enturely relog in low wake on your back the HGE will respawn) for War/Civil War/Boom will give you a lot of different G4/5 Manufactured Mats,in Imperial systems you'll get mostly Imperial Shieldings (G5), for Raw go to Sanguinine Rim, Crystal Shard Forests and you'll have 90% of them, for Data go to Jameson Crashed Cobra and you'll get G4/5 also Robigo Passenger runs offer several G4/5 Data and Manufactured (only there ) that's it more or less and then Material Trader will exchange for what you need.
