Mats not respecting the 300-->250-->200-->150-->100 rule?

Just do a selection filter based on grade and you will see that some of the materials have a "wrong" max capacity. Is it "normal" or is it a bug? I also saw a thread just after 3.0 dropped in which some players complained that their over 100 capacity was lost after performing rolls at an engineer: also a bug?

So is it safe to start stuffing to the max some >100 materials, or it would be better to wait in case there is really a bug?

Some non-tradable materials (Obelisk patterns, for example) seem to have a 150 max capacity no matter which pattern type you gather. Not sure about the 100+ capacity being lost, the players should report that to FDev for investigation.

"Ehhh... what's up Doc?"

EDIT:

Sorry, I forget how young some of you are.

Sounds like bugs

It's a bug.

The inventory seems to randomly flip-flop between the correct capacities and a blanket 100 capacity for everything.

No idea what makes it happen but it seems to revert to correctly displaying the capacities if you quit to the main menu and log back in again.

It was suggested changing ships makes this happen but it just happened to me while I was using the same ship.

If it happens you shouldn't lose mat's. All that'll happen is you'll get an inventory that says something like "[item] 161/100"
If it happens while you're collecting mat's, however, your SRV/Ship will decide you can't collect more than 100 of a mat' and refuse to pick up any more - which means you'll miss out on collecting any more than 100.

Having said all that, I KNOW I'd got 150 Refined Focus Crystals last night, then something wobbled and I was back to 97. [sad]
