Maverick's Torch gone AWOL

Pretty sure my Maverick suit had a torch, and new Maverick suits look like they have one, but mine has disappeared, and I'm literally stumbling around in the dark.

Any ideas how to get it back?

I read it's linked to switching to the Pioneer appearance for your suit. Try to get back to the "vanilla" maverick suit see if it works.

Several posts about this already; do a search. From memory it's a problem with the Pioneer Suit only if you don't add the extra Pioneer Torso piece.

Except from removing of flight suits that were given with Horizons and missing option to unequip anything.

I have an explorer purple flight suit which I have equipped while trying to figure outfitting. I will appreciate if you tell me how to unequip it. So far, I can equip other things on other suits but unequip option is missing and clicking the equipped cosmetics again do not remove it.

I think you can't (by design) "unequip" the suit - you have to choose one. The problem I has was that many of the available option for the suits are actually showing up as arm parts in the top suit menu - if you click on these, they do indeed allow you to equip the related suit.

You need to create a new loadout for your other suits. And no, I haven't find a way to change the suit from a specific loadout, so if you create a "maverick G1" loadout, and find a maverick G3, which is obviously better, you can't replace the G1 is the loadout, you have to delete it and create a new one.
Oh, and you can delete the "default" loadout, but it will be remade on its own once you leave the menu.

I swear, the entire UI was created by someone who hates people. Most likely a cat.

Ok I can confirm it works, you just need to change anything in the torso menu that’s not pioneer.

Default one - flight suit cannot be deleted. And as I said the base flight suits we got from Horizons are missing.

change the colour of the pioneer skin from the teal default to green and your torch comes back (thanks to the kind person who told me this on here the other day)
