Maximum number of missions?

My 'home' system has 11 stations so there are usually loads of available missions if I do a quick tour of them. I've seen it here that the maximum number you can have at a time is 20, but I can only seem to take 18. I don't have any outstanding fines, bounties or bonds, I am not signed up to any CGs.

Just wondering if there is a known reason why 18 is the maximum I can take or if my game has a bug in it worthy of a ticket.

No its not a bug, FD set limit to limit mission stacking exploit abuse..

If you can't get 20 that sounds like a bug. The maximum should be 20 not 18.

do you have "mission invites" in your inbox? those count to the mission limit, too

Ooh I didn't know this. But then again it's rare for me to max out my missions, unless I'm trying to rank up or something. Thanks for the info.

Didn't know that either, but the answer is no as I have nothing in there.

Guess I will submit a bug report then.
