Yeah, I might have the same one. It's either that or has the ones with the newer CGI stuff and then the original ones as well – not sure if there's a difference. I'll have to look into it.
Cheers.
I can help (all TRUE Star Wars fans). There is only one version of the original trilogy on DVD (not on Blu-ray) that does not have the later adjusted/additional stuff that Lucas did after the god-awful prequel trilogy (Ep 1,2+3).
These are labelled as 'LIMITED EDITION' in a gold band across the tops of the three DVD's and each includes 2 DVD's with one being the real 'original theatrical version'. They are sold as separates (no 'box set' exists for these versions) and have these identifying numbers on the very bottom of the DVD spine:
Star Wars IV: A New Hope = 3391901001
Star War V: The Empire Strikes Back = 3392001001
Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi = 3392101001
These are the only way to own the actual original versions on a modern format (otherwise you are talking on VHS!). All other DVD and Bluray versions have been adjusted to various degrees (some more than others, from BIG stuff like Han shooting after Greedo, to little stuff like changing the colour of lightsabers or 'funny' aliens stepping in animal poo in Mos Eisley (sigh) etc).
This is that version listing on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Star-Wars-...09458&sr=1-4&keywords=Star+Wars+IV+A+New+Hope
That is the first film, but it lists the other two further down in the descriptions, just for the love of the memory of Ben and Yoda, close your eyes when you get to the 'junk' Star Wars advert for the chars from the new (junk) franchise!
May the force be with all true Star Wars fans, forever.
