Maybe I can quit this habit of mine with dwarves

Now that topic sounds a bit odd ;)

But I have this habit of having to check the system map whenever I enter a brown dwarf or similar systems. But there's never anything. Have anyone _EVER_ found anything interesting in those? Maybe I can try and quit the habit :)

Personally, no, but I once found a water world orbiting a brown dwarf - the thing is, that brown dwarf was orbiting a white star ;)

Yeah that does perhaps change it up a bit. To clarify I mean when the dwarf is the main star you jump to :)

Unless I am a few hundred ly from home I will always fire off the ADS and take a look at the System Map. I don't recall seeing much around brown dwarfs other than ice... I think rock now and then. Though admittedly my main concern these days when I drop in on one during a long route is, "uh oh... I hope it doesn't have friends." There are a couple of patchs in the gap between Orion and Perseus that are filled with 'em... unscoopable deserts, and me with a thirsty ASP.

I just recently escaped a large swath of brown dwarf systems and all of them were surrounded by icy pink planets or nothing. At least a few dozen systems of that nonsense.

I did start to wonder what Snow White has been up to now ...

I have found one whole high metal content planet in all the brown dwarf systems I have visited. All the rest appeared to be rocky/icy and I didn't bother scanning.
