Mechanics Won't Fix Bathrooms (Scenario 11). Anyone Else?

I just started the second to last scenario in career mode (Yamaguchi Prefecture Tranquility Zoo), and for the life of me cannot get mechanics to fix the bathrooms. I've tried calling them to the buildings, I've tried assigning only a bathroom to a work zone and assigning a mechanic to that zone - no luck. Nothing I seem to do will get them to fix them. This is causing significant issues in completing the scenario since guests are upset there's no restroom and then they leave.

I don't play this game but personally I think it would be a plumber that fixes a bathroom. Mechanics typically fix things that are mechanical but plumbers fix things involving plumbing

Oh good- I just started this scenario and yep, same problem. Also, the transformers and water treatment plants and barriers are CONSTANTLY breaking down. I have everything set to have a mechanic visit every six months and nope, stuff is failing left and right.
