In the research section there is darted medicines. I wonder if there are future plans to add other types of medicinal delivery methods.

Either that, or past plans that went south. Though sometimes past plans become future plans.

The only other interaction you really have with dinos is feeding them, so oral medicine using the feeders would have been the obvious choice. In a way the Paleobotany feature is a sort of medicine that makes you live longer and look prettier, so that might be the direction they opted for instead.
Each dinosaur species has susceptibility and immunity to specific diseases, so I'd imagine that there was plans to have feeder medicines which prevent specific diseases, or to improve the resilience of dinosaurs susceptible to specific diseases.
The main problem I could see is that, as an effect, you can't see something not happen when it would otherwise. Also reducing the chance, but not eliminating it would make it feel not worth it at times, if they went with that.
Considering that Paleobotany increases Lifespan and Rating, then these medicines could maybe improve Resilience and Rating, or potentially they could add to and take from other stats as well (most Medicinal drugs have side effects after all), if they decided to go through with such a thing.
