Memorial for my little commander

Greetings CMDRS, As Captain and Owner of the Destiny Q2Z-50G. I am planning on taking her to Evelyn's Light and back. I would like some assistance in starting some kind of event and trying to schedule and plan the route and how long at each stop, with the plan to stay at Evelyn's light for a couple of weeks and let those who came along for the ride a chance to see the place.

I plan for the duration of the expedition set my tariff rates to 0%, and allow ALL Cmdrs to board and use the facilities, Shipyard, outfitters, the works.

I have already purchased enough fuel for a round trip, and there is enough upkeep to keep her running honestly for the next 5 years, so no worries about decommissions out in the void.

please DM me on the forums or contact me on discord (agentexeider#4027). Look forward to hearing from you.

An excellent idea! I'd come along, but I've already been and I'm off in the black now.

Safe travels, Commander. o7

It is with great respect and appreciation that I am able to reveal how Frontier has honoured Evelyn.

In the ED milky way there is now a neutron star with a gentle rotation named Evelyn's Light. It is in an area close to Colonia and matches the fantastic fiction that Drew authored.

My heart breaks for you and your family, sorry to say I just found this thread because of your September post. Like many others, I'll make the trip out there as soon as I am able to pay my respects, and it is wonderful to see the support you are receiving during these difficult times.

From my family to yours Me ka pule a me ke aloha menemene, all our prayers and sympathy.

Shining bright among the stars...

I hope this is not an insensitive question, but is the audio from the scanned message supposed to be just noise? I was kinda expecting someone (Evelyn herself maybe) to be reading the poem out, but all I got was blehblehblehbleh.

Arrived as promised, CMDR jellowiggler.

Long trip, but if 10,000 trips out here would bring your little girl back, I'd do it in a heartbeat. And I know that I'd be facing stiff competition from the rest of the CMDRs here who'd all do the same.

I know it won't do anything to fill the hole in your heart, but it's what I could do right now. I took the liberty of renaming my trusty Asp that I've flown more than anything for the first and last time, I hope it's OK.

The poem is beautiful. Rest, little princess, you now belong to the Universe as the Universe belongs to you.

o7, CMDR Evelyn.

Condolences jellowiggler (how inadequate sounds that word). I am always comforted by the thousands of NDE accounts. Individual consciousness does not die with the material body.

And kudos to FD for doing this. Nice one guys. :)

Loose Screws, with the support of CMDR Exeider, is mounting an Expedition to Evelyn's Light!

Please read about it here:

On Feb 26 we will be there to pay our respects and remember Evelyn. I will reveal what the sound is on that date. I will also post a vid of Ev, with a special message for eveyone that she left behind for us.

Thank you for all continued thoughts and prayers. And to anyone still battling against an affliction; Hang in there and continue to love and learn!

Hello. I already joined the expedition (BACKER #54754).
It will be a pleasure to have the company of all of you, on this voyage with a beautiful meaning. My old ASP and me; we are both ready.
Kind regards.

A little tribute Video and Screenshot from the UGC.

Our deepest heartfelt condolences to you and your loved ones for your loss.

In humility we look up to the stars.
You wander between the lights.
We are made of stardust.
And stardust we will become.
We remember those, that we lost.
Knowing, that we will see us again.
United in the night.
Between the stars.
United we are.
Your light glazes bright.
We bow our head on those,
who fought the greatest battle,
and even if they lost,
their light became a lighthouse.
In humility we look up to the stars.
And we become aware, how small we are.
We will all see us again.

OMG. Just now I found this post. I'm in Colonia now and plotted the course. I'm already waiting for 20 minutes before the mists clear from my eyes.
