Mercenaries of Mikunn - The Background Simulation and Colonization Test

I wasn't doing slaves they were the legal retrieval missions. I'll post pictures or data after I turn in these missions I'm on. It's seems only illegal missions from Sukua are currently helpful.

And pray they're not in the unpopulated systems just went out for 6 items took well over and hour for 3 missions. No wonder we aren't doing well here.

I did a couple of missions before stopping because my right hand joystick's twist (Logitech extreme pro 3d) started to go off calibration or something... All missions effects seemed to be in order.

Did they change the origin of the mission item? I remember they didnt matter. You just had to get them and could turn them in ... where ever you got them from.

My missions: fetch Rutile/Liquor/Computer components/Agri-Medicines. Liquor: Influence up, Boom up, Bust down, Lockdown up (lockdown up and bust down aren't documented in the mission effect sheet; Computer components: Boom up, Unrest down, Bust down, influence up (unrest down isn't on the sheet); Agri-Medicines: Boom up, Bust down, Lockdown up, Influence up (lockdown isn't on the sheet); Rutile: Boom up, Unrest down, Bust down, Influence up (rutile isn't on the sheet). Have mission effects changed or are they bugged? I didn't screenshot them all... I guess I have to start...

If that's the way things are, then I am going to be very put out.

Did about a 10 missions. Only one of them gave me a drop in Influence (rebel transmissions). Not that this isn't still bugged, as the Influence level each time was for Sukua, even if I was doing a mission in Mikunn or HR 7327.

I see people talking about missions.

Remember guys, we proved that missions do little to nothing influence wise outside of our home system, so don't expect that to get us very far.

I'm also reluctant to start fighting in Sukua for now. Missions should be alternative way of getting influence in the system. At least, that is the way I see the game design. If they have no effect, something is not working right.

I agree 100%

I also am now friendly with Scott Station in Hip 93685 all from just buy/sell trading. Never ran a single bulletin board mission there.

Someone floated the idea that Influence was locked during Expansion. Just wanted to test if this was the case. Still seems stuck. One difference of note since expanding into Sukua last Thursday, is the Mission summary now shows the Sukua Influence level, instead of Mikunn.

I have been aware.

Even when we weren't stuck on expansion, and switched from blockading to missions nothing happened. Then when we switched to back to kill authority we started gaining influence again. Expansion or not, missions have proven to do little over combat, as taught to us by Mysteron.

Gents, I am friends with Copper Iodine and am here to lend a hand. I can do some trading runs while at work and combat while at home and can use my joystick. Also, I'm in the US on Central time.

Good seeing a few of you last night, especially the nudging of the stuck NPC cobra...first time I've seen that.
