Mercenaries of Mikunn - The Background Simulation and Colonization Test

Law party and dynamics should be fighting over Friend. Michael comment about the most valuable is a misquote. I asked specifically about a system in which the controlling faction has one station and another faction controls the only other station. He answered that he expects the other faction to go for the most valuable station in that case. Don't just read what Michael said but what Michael himself quoted.

Remember BD+03 2338? It was the system that was controlled by slavers before the Federation corporation took over. Galnet news is talking about a capital ship being built there and the East India Company is shooting down transports.

When BD+03 2338 was in civil war, the slaver faction had more influence at the end of the war but the Feds won and took the station if I remember correctly. I would love to have a screenshot or some other solid confirmation for everyone, but my meager search skills didn't find any evidence one way or another in reasonable time. But I was there the minute the war ended. I had presumed that the community goal was the driving force there and conclude that the highest influence faction doesn't auto-win.

Apparently, killing ships and doing missions won't win the war either but may help. Perhaps there is a trick to it we haven't figured out: doing all missions and bond turn in at the target station for the right faction? My intent right now is to just farm missions/kills for Law Party at all three stations and aim for the biggest bond total.

I don't really care who wins the station between Law party and HR Dynamic. What I find funny is that Dukes of Mikunn, most influential faction in the system, has nothing to say in all this.
I am interested in finding the way to put Dukes in this fight. It is a matter of time when we will have to start shooting "our" ships to put Dukes in the state of civil unrest and civil war.

If the fight is over Gabriel Station, and Dynamic Commodities gets it, that means the Dukes will have to eventually go to Civil War against them 3 times to get system control.

That is correct, but, again, we need to find the way to put Dukes in the fight.
Result of our actions so far is their Boom, Boom, Expansion, Boom.
Last I saw next pending status is expasion. Probobly into Kwatee. No wonder because we are literaly destroying their competetion :D :D

Looks to me like Elementical's posts that Civil War gets started when the Influence levels match seems to be one way to make it happen. As such, we could increase Dynamic Commodities Influence until it matches Dukes, then we'll have a Civil War, assuming it doesn't bug out again.

This should be one after the Law Party / Dynamic Commodities Civil War, as we don't want them getting 3 stations.

Well met

Hail Mercenaries of Mikunn!I've been watching your progress for quite some time now and I think your cause is a worthy one. I'd like to join you and help furthering the Dukes' power and influence.I've made it to Mikunn and surrounding Systems a few days ago and began doing missions for the Dukes. Now I managed to get allied with the Dukes yesterday.I'm flying an Asp and am active almost every day, so please add me to your ranks.Hope to see you out there soonCMDR Arthur P. Welcome to the space of oportunity, Arthur.:)

As for complicated situation in HR, if war breaks out between Law and Dynamics it will be one theory confirmed. After that we can increase Dynamics by concentrating on Law party, I guess.

Thanks for welcoming me. Will download teamspeak soon. Haven't been using it for years. So if I got that right all we can do is wait for the war to start and then choose one faction to support?

Added you Arthur.

I will be removing Stimpy, Captain, and TheFool. Because I have not seen them in forever, so I can only assume they have moved on without telling me.

If you three are lurking speak up so I know!

Anyone in the previous 1.1 beta notice if Dukes were in HR 7327? If so, we could expect in beta 1.2 they'll be in HR 7327 and Sukua, and we can check if the Influence display bug is fixed.
