Hi,

When piloting a Lakon Type 6 or 7, should I invest in a chaff launcher for when I am under attack? Also, when being attacked from behind, is there any advantage of moving my ship at angles while waiting for a FSD to charge up after being interdicted? Or should I just stay in a straight line until I can enter back into supercruise?

Chaff could help...depends on your dance partner. It stops some, others know how to respond to chaff and keep fighting. You can try to 'wiggle' around, again helps with some, others can work around it. Honestly, the best a trader can do is to buy some shields and hyper jump to a system, don't try to get into supercruise. Jumping system to system avoids mass lock. Of course you could always just drop 10% tons and run...but that never guarantees anything.
