Shenzhoupterus A species of chaoyangopterid pterosaur from the Jiufotang Formation in Liaoning, China. The genus name is derived from Shenzhou, an old name for China, "the divine land", and a Latinized Greek pteron, "wing".

Eosipterus, A species of ctenochasmatid pterosaur from the Early Cretaceous period of Liaoning, China found in the Yixian Formation. It was the first pterosaur discovered in that region. The genus name is derived from Greek eos, "dawn" and Greek pteron, "wing" with a Latin ending; and a grammar error: normally the combination would have resulted in "eopterus".

Sinornithosaurus, A genus of feathered dromaeosaurid dinosaur from the early Cretaceous Period (late Barremian) of the Yixian Formation in what is now China. At one point, some scientists thought it was venomous based on the grooves on some of its teeth and a cavity located in the skull just above the teeth, but this has since been disproven.

Changyuraptor, It is known from a single fossil specimen representing the species Changyuraptor yangi, which was discovered from Early Cretaceous deposits in Liaoning Province, China. At the time of its discovery, C. yangi was the largest four-winged dinosaur known and among the largest Mesozoic flying paravians.

Malawania, A basal thunnosaur ichthyosaur known from the middle Early Cretaceous from Iraq. It is much more primitive than other Cretaceous ichthyosaurs, being most closely related to Ichthyosaurus from the Late Triassic and Early Jurassic, over 70 million years earlier than Malawania, with all other known ichthyosaurs from the Late Jurassic onwards belonging to the family Ophthalmosauridae.
