Engineers Meta Alloy for Felicity Farseer found!

Sorry to wake up this topic. But i just recently started playing and im now in the search of this meta alloy. I just went to the engeneer for 200 ly with a 13ly ship. And now i see that the meta alloy sells on a station 400ly away...no way i have the time to go there. So is there another way to get this? What you mean with "at source"?

I echo what Panpiper said. You should go visit a Barnacle or 2 to get the meta-alloy you need. Cheaper, you get to see something different, and you get to stretch your ship's legs a bit.
There are spreadsheets that list Barnacle locations. I've got one that's out of date for status, but the locations are still valid. I know Panpiper has found many more since I abandoned updating this sheet.
