Meta alloy hull reinforcement only 3% caustic damage?

Wait, what? Any chance of a screenie? I just worry you are dyslexic and it actually says 30% rather than 03%...
Not calling you a liar, just my mind is recoiling from the overwhelming level of dumb this implies....

Lol, whoops. Ah well what kind of Frontier update would it be without hundreds of bugs. :) Anyone remember what it was in beta (the caustic resist value)?

It's true. 3% per. I have a bunch on my ship and they add up to 8.7% for the whole ship.

Standard Hull Reinforcement provides from 0.5% to a max of 2.5% resist to conventional weapons types.

It's 20% higher than the highest standard hull.

Can I ask how much you'd expect it to be?
Sure, but what the hell is the point of 3% on the only thing (I think) that can have it? Thats like dying of thirst and some passerby takes pity and flicks a wet booger in your eye...

Yeah you are wrong DoodlyStudmuffin, what you are expecting? a usefull module? /sarcasm.

Far away from usefull stuff, the only thing that comes in my mind i'ts in a certain point those broker stuff will be enginerrable, until that day all those stuff will be useless;

Not falling for that trap.

Trap?

I mean if you're expecting 30% what would you expect stacking 3 of these to do?

Bearing in mind an Anaconda can equip 10+ hull reinforcements.

Right. 3/2.5 is 1.2 or 20% increase. But it's still just a 0.5% increase overall. nice try though.

What you on about, comparing like for like for relative strengths is a perfectly fair comparison.

Seems that you forget about the integrity increase.

What is better: 60% more hitpoints and 50%+ another damage types resistence or 30% caustic resistence? (Stacking 10 MHRP)

I remember when FDev released 50% caustic resistant hull reinforcement modules in 2.4 for a short while by mistake. Stacking two got you 60%, stacking three got you around 62%.

Probably you should be comparing to the max it can be after engineering since meta alloy hull reinforcements cannot be engineered. Probably that is what he is "on about".
