Elite / Frontier Mild error in version of firstenc

I noticed that Thargoid missiles in JJFE versions and FFE D3D, do not equip as thargoid missiles, ive used buffet as well as the ones given to me when i acquired the thargoid ship from the mission in which you do, to give myself thargoid missiles, but when you fire them off and lock on to your fired missile, radar scanner indicates its only a standard assault missile. It's not just mislabeled either, thargoid missiles will destroy any ship with just 1, these do same damage as assault missiles. Go see for yourself :)

btw * the original version of first encounters run in DOS Box, works fine with thargoid missiles, they appear correctly and do proper dmg.

idk if anyone noticed this issue so i am addressing it.

There is SOOOO Much potential in this game, and so much still not working right lol... Like, i still for some reason ask crew if they've ever worked on a star ship before... Ive never seen "Yes, i have!" , which ive seen in the hex editor in the text, so i know many of the responses were intended to vary, but for some reason, just do not. And "I didnt do it, officer!" was suppose to have a negative and a positive response, but you only get the bad response...

Strange. I'm sure in the past they've responded "Yes, I've worked as crew before" but as you say, they don't seem to do it any more

As for missiles. Who needs missiles?

yep, i've stated that before to, also i could swear that there is a difference to who you hire and how much you pay them in FE2, FFE i'm not shure i didn't play that long, but i assume it's the same. it seems at least in JJFFE (and fellows) you will have only excellent crew members, so it didn't matters, because i never had problems docking or launching big transporters, like in FE2, when i was very unexperienced (both myself and my avatar), and didn't choosed and payed my crew to well. i know reputation is somewhat important in frontier, even if you don't notice, the game will reflect your behaviour, that's one of the coolest things beyond, in the end it's not a single action rather than the summary of your life in Frontier, that will influence certain things. very, very clever, reminds me of "the riders of the blue sky", small bits of code with a big effect on how things get generated, like in real life.

by now, i'm not shure if JJFFE respects any of that, because they're really tiny bits.
or what did you think is all that changing stuff for in frontiers commander files, apart from objects, time, and such primitive things? a lot of stored variables which will influence the generated universe in their summary.
