Newcomer / Intro Min. jump range to get to HIP 36601

Just been having this problem myself. Does anyone have a good waypoint system where you can plot courses to HIP 36601 and the bubble? Got to HIP 36601 by jumping a system at a time thanks to a third party program but it's far too finicky to do that every time. Currently docked in an fc in HIP 36601 but would prefer not to rely on fate for where I end up.
Edit: My jump range is 35.68ly.

it has todo with the horse nebula and witch head. so plotting around is needed. maybe jasons lighthouse will help, neutron star. so a course will possible. i tried a route from sol it has worked, from witch head. no chance, 90% of route and error no way found.

IIRC, there's a (or multiple) permit locked zones in the way. You either need to try a different target star in the Bubble, or go up (or down) a few hundred ly and try plotting again.

I'm aware, that's why I was asking for a system usable as a waypoint. As I'm currently stuck in HIP 36601 with no idea which stars go round the permit locked zone I'm in a bit of a bind.

people in this thread trying to negotiate a roundabout: "It's literally impossible to progress - there's an island in the middle"

Just go UP 200-300 Ly before plotting to hip 36601.
I'm AT HIP 36601. I would like to return to the bubble, this necessitates getting to a system from which I can plot a course home. I'm asking for said system, preferably one that a course can be plotted to from HIP 36601.

1. Do you mind taking a screenshot of the nav screen (showing the adjacent star systems) from HIP 36601. I keep forgetting to check that whenever I am there.

2. I kinda overcompensated. When I first tried, it was a sub 30 LY ship and I spent couple of days in frustration (hence why I started this thread) trying to get to 36601. Then I went straight to G5 FSD and Guardian FSDB and found that with a 40++ LY range, you can plot a straight course from Jameson Memorial in Shinrata. It was 37 or 47 jumps only.

IF possible, highly recommend you just build that 40/50 or more LY ship, makes the whole thing a lot less frustrating and you get a nice long legged ship too.

If not, then its the 300LY up trick as others above have suggested.

Seriously, bear with the grind to get that 1st long legged ship. It makes everything down the road so much easier.

One needs something like 38.2 ly jump range to be able to plot a course to HIP 36601
I might be mistaken for some 0.1-0.2 ly ... but well...

This is achievable with a DBX that is non-engineered but is using a 4h Guardian FSD Booster (45+ ly jump range)
Or with the same non-engineered DBX that is using a 16t fuel tank instead of the regular 32t (and no GFSD booster)... it may be risky tho... (38.6 ly jump range)

Maybe it's worth mentioning that unlocking Felicity and engineering only the FSD to G3 would push the above DBX to 53ly (without the Guardian FSD Booster)

If you set your Galaxy Map to filter out unvisited stars then your route plotter should take you back on the route you used to get there.

Unfortunately I don’t have any bookmarked waypoints for HIP 36601 as by the time I went there from the Bubble I had enough jump range not to have an issue.

Another option if you cannot follow your tracks is to chat to the many carrier owners out there and see if one of them is heading back and will give you a lift.
