well this is my work and i hope you like it, if in a future we get more SA or CA Walktrought animals, this will be their home for sure

Wow, I love those enclosures and the tropical house! I managed to build something new for my llamas and also for the Galapagos Tortoises :)
I will post the llamas first as I think I'm more happy with them :)
Their main stable is on an octagonal plan

The view from above, you can see it's a walk-through enclosure with a fountain (spitting llama) and a little botanical part behind the fountain

The other stable is more basic, I tried to go for a realistic look this time

The inside of the stable

And the viewing area between the shops

And my humble enclosure for the tortoises, part of the reptile house that you can see behind the llama paddock.
This is their indoor area. It's the first time I uploaded the custom user media for the photo background on the wall - I'm glad I could learn something new!

The other wall is just covered in rocks.

Their outdoor area looks quite unimpressive I guess.

And lastly, a view behind the mighty Golden Llama ears :p

I mean you can share what you got so far. Mine isnt finished either
Well then have my unfinished south america house featuring 2 capybaras, 1 bairds tapir, 6 collared peccarys and one very sleepy sloth.
Starting with an overview shot we got the house itself in the center and outdoor enclosures for the cappybaras and tapir on the left and for the collared peccarys on the right.

Starting left we got the first section of the tapir + capybara habitat. The final version will be able to be seperated into 3 different enclosures through gates with an extra stable added for breeding purposes.
This first section is mainly used by the capybaras and connects to their interior holding, but thanks to the open gate the tapir can also explore this area. At one point all 3 habitats were seperate, with the gates being added during rennovation to give the animals more space with the inhabitants of the 3. enclosure aswell as the majority of the capybaras being relocated throughout the zoo, with only 2 elderly individuals aswell as the elderly male tapir remaining with this as their retirement home.
This outdoor part also has an underwater viewing on the right side as it main special feature.
contest3.jpeg

Main special feature? I lied a little as the true main feature is this nice view down the hill and into the elephant habitat and everything behind it. Not really relevant for the whole mini zoo thing but just a casual reminder that elevation is king and you all flatearthers arnt doing yourself a favor with the all flat worlds.
We can also see the two capy bathtubs on the left, which are actually functional so with a bit of luck you can see them sit in them and enjoy a hot shower.
contest9.jpeg

On the other side we got the collared peccarys in their little moat. On the right the path splits into an elevated bit, giving us a second and in my opinion pretty dope view of the habitat aswell as circling back around the whole build for a coherent south american area.

Inside we got 3 different levels of elevations with planters between them aswell as ropes on top where our very sleepy sloth could climb along if he wasnt so very sleepy.
Everything on the inside is very much work in progress so yeah but hey atleast its something
contest5.jpeg

On the highest elevation level we got the inside holdings of the peccarys and capybaras, aswell as some signage and the sleeping box for out sleepy sloth.
contest4.jpeg

contest8.jpeg

On the middle level we find the main view into the tapir holding, aswell the part where the capybara and tapir holdings can be seperated.
contest7.jpeg

On the lowest level we got an indoor pool for the tapir and capybaras aswell as some planters mounted to the walls, benches and a trashbin.
contest6.jpeg

Aaaand thats it for now. As you can see neither the climbing frame for the sloth, nor the planting are finished, we got only one of atleast 3 signs and the only holding im somewhat happy with is the capybara part with everything else desperatly needing some decorations.
It was very fun though and i hope everybody else can say the same ^^
Im personally very happy with the building itself especally the interior and the two outdoor enclosures, just a shame that i couldnt get the interior decorating done but thats just how life is sometimes

This is a tough choice because I love all those projects. I find them all very inspiring, each in their own way. After consideration, I will also vote for the Tropical House by Abigenius.

In a way, it reminds me of a tropical house I recently visited In Arnhem and I liked it a lot. I love the narrow paths, dense vegetation, open space for all the animals, and the feeling of being in a tiny jungle. Of course, this one has more sophisticated architecture, the Arhnem Zoo has a bit simpler style.

I loved the creative exhibits for the missing species by MarvinB, made me smile! And the modern look of this building. Certainly, a place I would like to visit too!

Well, no one participated in that 🤣

Let's do a Eurasia theme for anyone participating. Europe and Asia animals are fair game, due by December 22nd at 10 AM EDT
I somehow missed the previous contest. Oops...

And funnily enough, I was gonna try to build a Eurasian zoo anyways, so if I finish, I'll upload it

Well what a coincidence as this is what im currently building for, neat.
And yeah, ngl just using carnivores is pretty much the opposite of exciting.
+ if its just a part of an ongoing zoo it kind of sucks out the carnivorans from other areas, which makes the entire zoo more boring
