I am a void Opal miner like many of us and was wondering how the hotspot system works. Is there a high change of running into cores the closer you are to center? Is there a range from the center where the change of finding cores drops off?
I have not yet seen anyone claim either that distance to the center matters, or anyone with any credibility claim the hotspot size shrinks. Are there any insights or at least speculations on whether the visible blob size matters? Are they dynamic (as in shrinking after heavy mining)?

i will explain everything; this is what happens when you fire the PWS, if you get three oranges you find a coreI am a void Opal miner like many of us and was wondering how the hotspot system works. I'm not saying that this is not the case, but logically, this would mean there is a hard border between an area where there no void opal roids, and where there are. I find that last one hard to believe. Only one way to find out...it doesnt matter where you are in the hotspot
Thats not what I'm seing at all. Secondary catch is usually low temp diamonds, with void opals as primary. Sometimes the other way around. Some alexandrite and grandidierite, rarly bromilite. At least, where I mine.the computer decides again weather is contains Void opals or bromelite, ..... if its not three oranges its bromelite usually ^^

ahhh you must be getting one bar sign a cherry and the bell thenI'm not saying that this is not the case, but logically, this would mean there is a hard border between an area where there no void opal roids, and where there are. I find that last one hard to believe. Only one way to find out...

Or maybe because I'm using small seismic charges. Maybe you should try them too...ahhh you must be getting one bar sign a cherry and the bell then
if only there was a chance of this.Or maybe because I'm using small seismic charges. Maybe you should try them too...
