5. I like the game mechanic that lets your wingman mine the same asteroid you did, because it encourages cooperative gameplay.
Take along your 3 friends in fast ships and bring a Conda or T9 to collect resources. Search for painite a then mine it together (x4 painite).
After T9's cargo bay is full, escort it back to starbase.

There is no easy way to fairly share the spoils amongst a mining wing. If player trading were in the game then I'd agree, but as it stands being able to exploit the same 'roid multiple times is as close to multiplayer mining as it's possible to get; efficiency is multipled not by the number of pilots as it should be, but by the number of mining lasers and refineries.

In an ideal world, only one ship - the hauler - would fit a refinery.
 
It's true, that with no player trading in game it's way too complicated to share profit.
It could be done with some options to the dividend mechanic - the player in T9 could enable option to equaly share trade profit with winged players.

For me, efficiency is also dependant upon number of pilots. When I'm mining with my friend , we are more effective,
because we share prospecting info between us. So if I find a 50% painite rock , I let him know where it is.
Two of us can find better 'roids in given time.

Anyway, this sharing 'roid mechanic is the best thing for mining since the original release.
I'm in for every game change that promotes player coop / interaction.
