Plat- 300,000
Osmium 200,000~
If you go to Hyades Sector DB-X D1-112, you can mine for all 3 of these resources, filling up your hold much, much quicker. I got about 100 million an hour by mining and selling there. (20%+ Painite, Plat, or Osmium.)\

I did this the other day, I found it much more enjoyable as I was looking for roids with any of those 3 and mining them. It does mean I had to go to 2 different stations to sell, but I found that an interesting new dynamic as well.

Out of curiosity did combat get much of a buff? I had heard it was going to and I think it's a bit- not a lot but I didn't see any hard numbers?

Is the promised evening out of things happening?

They are doing mining stuff first - then combat.

It's a process that will happen over weeks.

I just did a mining run as well. Took me a bit longer because I am somewhat picky and a bit lazy but I walked away with 70 million in my pocket. Most assuredly, mining is just fine!

I've just done a couple of hours in a void opal/LTD double hotspot. Collected tritium, LTD, void opal. Only found one core, but with 157 LTD and 17 void opal, it was a reasonable run. It was enjoyable as it didn't take long to find a rock worth mining. I tried in a pure void opal hotspot a couple of weeks ago, and couldn't find anything except tritium (which ended up being a very tedious hour before I gave up)...

Am going to look for metallic rings next and see what I can get from those.

Core mining is borked right now so core-only stuff is terribly tedious to look for. Metallic is good since your getting a number of now-worthwhile metals in the run.

I just ran a test mining only these minerals near MET 20 and I'm still only netting about 40 mil this hour. I even added two extra collector limpets and I got 124 painite, 35 platinum and 1 osmium. I'm in a double overlapping painite hot spot too.

How are you getting those numbers??

Yes, I discovered that the other week when I went looking for void opals. And given this, I can highly recommend a void opal/LTD hotspot overlap, as then you get a reasonable return of LTD, and still the chance of getting void opal. Of course, this does require a ship kitted out for all mining types, so your laser mining won't be "optimal". But I primarily mine because I find it a fairly relaxing experience - I'm only after reasonable return.

I like mining so long as it isn't a fruitless search (which describes core mining currently). Must be said, I've never liked the PWS anyway, as it highlights utterly useless rocks. It should at least have some way of determining if there is something useful in them.

Exept its not, went to overlap voids, not only ive got more of other stuff like LTD, alexandrite and grandidierite but i cant even find station which buys voids for over 1mil, even though they made it 1.3M as max for opas, i cant find any and most of them sit around 500-700K price and for me, its not worth anymore with pain of deep core mining as 80% of rocks wont even show in front of me and finding deep core one can prolong even to 30-40minutes... and thats most funny type of mining for me.
