Mining Push in ED is not fun and making me leave the game.

Come on guys it's obvious the OP is docking at stations that are spawning mining missions because of BGS and economy state in system nothing to do with bugs or the game. Go find a system that doesn't want mining goods or at war you'll see loads of missions nothing to do with mining.

You could... trade ultra valuable mined commodities?

You could do that. Just sayin'

With trade not being fixated to "buy it or mine it",
but also "get your dirty hands on the item any way you like". ;)

BTW i am just doing 10 planetary strike/scan missions,
so there is plenty of other systems with other missions.
The amount of missions just is pretty low per faction, even if they are system owner.

Welcome to the post "board flipping" era.

Amusingly, a T-9 can hold 768t of cargo along with mining gear. Gems sell for 1.6 million/tonne at best.
Elite Trader requires 1,000 million.

So you could go - let's assume you go exploring to buy the T-9 and to pick up all the synthesis materials needed - from Penniless to Elite in a single trip.

If I had more spare time I'd buy an alt account and do it :)

EDIT: Okay, Hutton Truckers have basically already done it. Well done to them!

I don't know what to say...

The mission system is such a mess right now, I'm running constant 10m missions to deliver half a ship full to the station next door.

I know someone is gonna say I'm exploiting and my answer is.. Yes.. Yes I am :) If it's deployed, it's intended in my book :)

Feel free to leave your stuff in my bin on your way out and don’t let the door hit you where your maker split you.

I haven’t even seen a single mission since before release day, but being out on the galactic rim will do that.

Seems like there is a lot of systems in a war or civil war state, at least around the cluster I'm usually traversing. Yesterday every other system I dropped in was shootie uppie. And the stations I needed to visit were posting notices that I was entering a combat zone. I guess things need to settle out some. Got some interdiction attempts while the cargo hold was completely empty. I think it's a "watch your back even more" kinda thing. I checked numerous star systems on Inara and the majority of them are in some kind of war state. It's a good day if you are a weapons smuggler.. hahaha I envy your galactic rim adventure and one day I'll make it out there....
