mining site question..

as good as the people on this forum about answering questions I am guessing this one was a stupid question. lol I do that occasionaly.
:( sry.

Does the mining site reset when you leave the instance or when you leave t he game? or does it not reset at all?

I think that how it works is it resets based on statistics from how it was before; the breakdown of materials should be on the same probability but each rock is different.

In other words if you find a rock you like, you won't find it again.

np with that. I just wanted to make sure that the rocks would be restocked with something. mining a metal rich and not bad but none of the big stuff. palladium, etc. silver and osmium though. are the metallic rings better than metal rich? as long as bot are pristine reserve?

Metal rich is for minerals, metallic for metals. I know, it's not intuitive.

Questions asked during the work week have a good chance of a quick answer, the weekend not so much :)

ty and yes I get it about the weekend. when I was working I only got to play on weekend so understandable. actually I really thought the original questions was probably stupid.

This is What I've started doing that has help with the doldrums of sifting through the rubbish, instead of launching prospector drones all the time I speed check by picking a direction to go in and never deviate just fly in straight line checking roids leaving junk in my wake, when I find something good I deploy collectors and let them do their thing at the end I will just close cargo and fly on usually those drones try to back track so I just boost away to kill them so I can rinse and repeat, it's been working well so I'm not slow boating going in circles and profits are better and less management of the refinery.
