Missing North African / Arabic Animals

I feel like the latest pack only made the exclusion of North African/ west Asian animals worse. Thankfully we got the fennec Fox and scarab but now we have this beautiful build set without animals that fit the region. What would be your picks for west Asian/ North African animals too fit in a potential desert pack or something similar?

I feel like some candidates are:

Dromedary- too iconic
Addax or scimitar oryx - critically endangered animals
Caracal- small cat!
Striped Hyena- second hyena!
African spurred tortoise- desert tortoise!
Arabian oryx- cool success story
Mhor Gazelle - a cool desert dwelling gazelle
Ratel- I need my little honey badger!

There was a lot (and I mean A LOT) of discussion regarding the unfitting theme in the africa pack and lack of north Africa and middle east animals. I really hope for a desert pack to fill the region, but yea I agree Frontier kinda dropped the ball with this decision. I suspect the pack we missed in 2020 due to covid was an Arabian pack, based on all the Dromedary pieces in the base game and the weird structure of the Africa pack.

Meanwhile sun bear exist as headline animal for SEA Pack. I don't think that basic player knew there is such a bear. As far as something looks cute or cool they will throw it at DLC poster.

Yea I don’t think it matters much honestly as long as it’s a cute animal

I did and still think that their wasnt a scrapped pack or anything, just the 4 best picks for africa and the best building Theme pick did Not overlap much.

For the animals i could see an animal pack from multiple desserts with some good picks being:
- addax / arabian onyx as iconic ungulents from north africa
-dromedary would round out the camels and even have multiple props ingame lol
-emus as Big loveable warveterans
-perenties for more reptile and australian representation
-collared peccary as an american Swine
-greater roadrunner cause cool bird
-marbled polecat or the asian wild donkey for some asian dessert representation, also cute mustelids!

i like that idea of different deserts being represented
