Missing ships?

I've not played for a long time (well, since the mining nerf, when they were about to increase combat reward).
I wanted to find where they were but I cannot see my FDL nor my Mamba.
Is there a way to see the history of ships ownership somewhere?

They all show up in the shipyard, you can see where they are and have them transferred to your location. Of course make sure you are actually in Horizons and not the base game because they won't show in the base game, only Horizons and later.

There is no base game now. Base game was merged with Horizons last year.

I was so hoping that this was a Cobra MkIV thread. It's been a while since one of those popped up. :D

ED and EDH were collapse last year - they may show as separate entries but both point to the same game.
There was also the presumption that the OP was PC. You don't get any choice on console - just Elite.

Yes, but also no. They're the same executable but ED mode doesn't have access to Horizons features.
"Horizons was merged into the base game" would've been true if the Odyssey/4.0 client replaced the Horizions/3.x client as planed, as then there'd only be "4.0 in Odyssey mode" or "4.0 in Horizons mode". But it wasn't, so we currently have "4.0 in Odyssey mode", "3.8 in Horizons mode", and "3.8 in base game mode".
So really, it's just that a base game license includes a license for Horizons now...

They are functionally not the same game. I got stuck on a planets surface the other day, where my ship refused to land. I reloaded to the ED base game, and respawned in my ship, as there is no planet surface in ED.
