Here is the list of current animals from Zoo Tycoon and Zoo Tycoon 2 that would be able to work within the current game.

Black Crested Gibbon, can be swapped for Yellow-Cheeked Gibbon or the Northern White-Cheeked Gibbon

Forgotten this or did this count? A Southeast Asian rainforest leopard subspecies. In Zoo Tycoon, it's black variant.

That's what I was talking about. In Zoo Tycoon, spotted one was African subspecies due to only location and terrain when the black one's Southeast Asian.

I know. That's what I was talking about. And very wise idea (was it?) that the still missing ones not in list were the ones that couldn't last, survive and/or breed in captivity in real life. Correct?

I think irl black Amur leopards may represent some interbreeding with other subspecies.
Of all the ZT animals I want the most cool to me additions would be:

Ethiopian Wolf
Bighorn Sheep
American Black Bear
Japanese Serow
Wolverine

Wow didn't know we lack so many still. They should just have release an expansion called Zoo Tycoon in 2029 as the last expansion. Including all the animal named above.

Last one, so we get 2023 Aviary Expansion, 2026 Aquarium Expansion and 2029. Many DLCs in between.

Almost certainly not. Pretty sure the 2029 posts are meant in jest.

I mean, if Frontier really wanted to they could continue to produce content for decades, if they were to want to get that much of the animal kingdom in. Probably better to take one year at a time at this point, as you approach an end of year, not get overly optimistic about anything beyond the next year.

Anyways, as far as my ZT2 wants, Wolverine, Secretary Bird and Spectacled Bear are the main ones for me. Masai Giraffe, Walrus and Honey Badger would be great though, From ZT1 the American Black Bear is the main one for me. Blackbuck and Markhor would be great additions too.
