This is mostly just a frustrating thing for me trying to move up in the Navy ranks.
When I see a Navy rank mission I want to immediately accept. Problem: If the mission is to transport X cargo from Point A to Point B and I am in my Bounty ship (say, my Vulture with no cargo room), I cannot accept the mission in spite of having another ship docked at the same station with tons of cargo (say, my AspX mining / transport / exploration build).
Can you please make it so that I can accept missions based off of my fleet? Or even, "nearby fleet"? Right now I am working on local rep for the Empire, and I've brought several ships to do missions, one for assassinations and "data transfer" missions, another for "Source X" and "Transport Y" missions, etc. If I am in the wrong ship when a mission pops, I lose it because when I change ships, the mission is different or disappears.
Is there any way to just let me accept the mission... Even if it means I need to buy another ship to accomplish it or something? It's already frustrating enough to see a Navy mission in a sub-faction that I've not reached friendly with or some other requirement. But to be completely capable of completing the mission, and just being in the wrong ship, is frustrating.
Here's a scenario that just happened:
Had that happen once before, made the mistake of forgetting to accept the mission first. Swapped to Vulture and the mission just wasn't there anymore. Lesson learned, but it seems like a few minor adjustments to how the requirements are calculated and it would improve greatly.
Alternatively, I might be in the right ship, but have a Business Class passenger cabin instead of cargo. Going into the Outfitting panel to swap out my cabin for my cargo resets the missions as well.
Thanks

Here's a scenario that just happened:
- Was in Vulture, couldn't accept a transport cargo mission to upgrade Navy rank because my Vulture didn't meet the 81 cargo space requirement
- Swapped to AspX
- Checked mission again and now it wants me to kill 6 ships, accepted that one... But now I have to swap back to my Vulture.
