Mission loading slow

The servers are very slow in retriving missions, between 5 and up to 20 seconds. I have a fast connection. Not sure if thats intentional or a side effect of the server searching all the mission boards, but it stops the gameplay flow in a big way compared to the almost instant loading befor.

I really appriciate the fixing of the rare material problem, but it woult be great if we could get back to the very fast performance we had befor this issue. If thats even possible, I really hope it is.




PS.I would have just posted a reply, but moderators keep closing threads... I really dont understand why when the issue is not resolve. Unless u want us to open new threads?!

I get black screen freezing after accepting, turing in missions aswell. Just a heads up.

Kill switch the game process and restart is the only solution so far.

Yeah, mission screen is very slow and I get an error message - 'cant access mission server, this is only a partial mission list' or something similar.

Also lots of disconnects, 'cant connect to server' - at one point I had to make the same approach to a station 3 times because I kept getting disconnected.

I'm still having immense issues despite having a perfectly good high speed connection with no issues. I've done everything conceivable to diagnose it on my end and come up with nothing.

I cant continue to do any passengar mission, long waits and alot of crashes. I guess I go and do some bounty hunting in RES sites until this is fixed.

Constantly getting long load times and mission retrieval incomplete messages when doing passenger missions. It has been happening for the last two days or so for me.

There are people who only play Elite by logging in and out of the game from solo to open. This will refresh the mission boards and they can stack missions to make money for whatever exploit is popular this patch. Blame them.

lol yeah, well, I m part of these ppl, dont blame these ppl, blame frontier.

I would love to have a diffrent way of making money, but when I am presented with severel ways of making money, I will always take the one that earns me the most. Currently though, doing research of finding the right system is way more important than refreshing the board, allthough, refreshing is an integral part of bulk passenger missions. Refreshing is not an exploit according to frontier. Not saying thats good or bad. But a diffrent gameplay mechanic would certantly be better.

I was actually thinking alot about it and if constantly logging in would affect the bandwith. It seemed to work fine just a day ago, so I dont think this is linked to the login server. I think this is linked to the mission server. They just recently had a problem with this server, so I think its link to that and the tweaking of drop rates to very rare materials as I linked above.

I disagree and I will leave it at that.

Lets stay on topic and help rise awerness about the mission server being slow and causes black screen crashes. This will affect all cmdrs.
