Missionboard crashes

When entering the missionboard and I scroll trough the missions the game crashes.

Who else encounter this problem ?
Kind'a. For me, the screen hangs up. The keys still work so clicking around I can turn on silent-running and stuff, and even open up the side panels, but I can't escape/cancel the mission screen, and it's stuck in one view. Only way to unlock it is to exit the game to the menu and start again. It's very annoying. It's actually game breaking at this point. I can finish the mission I have, but how to get new ones when constantly hanging like this. I first got it when I filtered the missions for "Transport" and clicked on one faction with zero trade missions. It hung up there, and just 10 seconds ago, it hung up on a regular view of a factions missions. Super irritating.

Playing on PC, by the way.

And then the priority of modules is screwed up as well. sigh

Fleet cariers, space legs ???
With this guys ???
Someone honestly believe those will ever be properly implemented features ?
Just consider how much this will change the game (technically).
And how capable are this guys at implementing "bug correcting" patches.
Laughable.

The future does look rather grim indeed.
Maybe it's time for them to think about how they want to continue, the way they're doing things now clearly isn't the right one.

I almost feel sorry for them, this is so humiliating and embarrassing, on the other hand there's no one they can blame but themself.
The load of criticism that's being thrown at them right now is the result of their own doing.
I can't even imagine how the spirit is right now at Frontier, shame, anger, indifference?
I'm glad I've never had to deal with such situations where I worked, but then again we've never screwed up so badly either.

To be fair I don't think I've recently seen any game that had smooth patches without bugs. Elite is quite excessive but I guess that is the norm in the industry nowdays. Quite low norm.

Yeah, I said it before, it's amazing what gamedevs get away with compared to other commercial software markets.
It's also amazing how many game players take this for granted by the way.

Still not hotifxed...... This is a rather bad issue and its falling on deaf ear's (Oh sure, announced they know about it and..... <Crickets>) but sheesh. "Subpar-tember" update has been a real downer, so many issues. If this doesnt say "Test Server for Updates" I don't know what does, But I am sure we shall see a "hotfix to fix the hotfix, to fix the hotfix", you see the pattern here!

Greetings Commanders,

We just wanted to let you know that the team is aware of this issue. We are looking into it and we will update you when we can.

Thank you
Thanks for letting us know that we aren't floundering on our own in the dark. Much appreciated.

Could I just quietly add my voice to the cacophony of screaming and say that it might be a good idea in the future to be aware of it BEFORE you post an update? I get that you can't anticipate every problem, but fundamental bugs like this creep in with every patch. It makes us addicts grumpy when you take our crack pipes away.

Sad but true. I know people who can get unfairly banned in other game and next week reroll and buy half of the cash shop in return

how to break a good game let devs fix it its time to get a pro in
and get this game fixed
stop the nerfs and tweaks
and fix the base game
I'm REALLY not looking forward to the December ''Fleet Carriers'' update we'll probably get ''Pong-in-space'' what with all the nowadays guaranteed ''bugs''... and what the 2020 update will manage to do ...doesn't bear thinking about with the ways things are sliding down the slippery slope!!!😭

I've been onboard since ''Alpha'' but I don't think I'll be around for the ''Omega''🤔

lol Only been playing a month. It's so good! Except when it's not... Been to Colonia and back already which was a blast, but encountering the grind big time now just to get a ship, engineer it so I can play. I've researched what is ahead (Power play which seems to make my current grind look like actual play) and keep running into bug after bug, some of which are still around since the game was released I think, the devs not even acknowledging them. Common sense is telling me to quit now and save myself endless angst, but... it's SO GOOD! (Except when it's not)

What grind is there to power play exactly? Its not like you get anything unique out if it besides the modules. Even then its 3 weeks of waiting and 5 minutes of moving merits. Not exactly what I call intensive.

Only know what I've heard mate. Never done it. I assume you are talking about "buying" it though which would still involve grinding for the credits to do so. Even then there's still all the hauling and then doing it all again week after week as your progress is halved. Sounds pretty grindy to me.

It takes about 7.5 million credits to buy the merits needed for level 3. It literally will take you more time to buy them than to actually earn that kind of money, its pocket change. And you only have to do it once, buy the modules you want, and your done. Minus the wait the whole process takes little over an hour at most

Now if you want to do power play as a THING then yeah I guess, its a grindy and ultimately pointless endeavor even within the context of a video game. Some people enjoy it though.
