Mixing Flumes, Lazy Rivers, and Pools—Current Limits and Future Plans?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been loving Planet Coaster 2’s water park features in Creative Sandbox, especially as I work on a tropical remix of Schlitterbahn New Braunfels called Schlitterbahn Palms. One thing I’m trying to recreate is the seamless flow of real-world tube chutes like the Raging River, where riders start on a flume, transition into a milder lazy river, mix in more flume sections (straight and curving), and end in a splash pool—all as one continuous journey.

From what I’ve found in-game and in the official guides (e.g., Flume & Pool Building on planetcoaster.com), flumes seem restricted to ending in pools, and lazy rivers operate as standalone loops with no direct transitions to/from flumes mid-ride. I can approximate this by placing splash pools next to lazy river entries and adding separate flume entrances nearby, but it breaks the continuous ride experience since guests have to walk between segments.

So, my question for the community and devs: Is there a current way to mechanically link flumes, lazy rivers, and flumes again into one ride path that I might’ve missed? If not, are there any plans to add this kind of interconnectivity in future updates? I’d love to see a system where flumes can exit into a lazy river’s flow or where lazy rivers can feed into flume sections without interrupting the journey—maybe with new transition pieces or ride logic. It’d be a game-changer for water park realism, especially for recreating places like Schlitterbahn!
Thanks for any insights or workarounds you can share. Excited to see what Update 3 (March 20th) brings with the round-bottom flumes—hoping it’s a step toward more fluid designs!

Cheers,
Banyng

I second this very much!

In the netherlands (and also germany, belgium, france and some other european countries as far as I'm aware of) in some waterparks we have an attraction called wildwaterbaan in dutch. In Germany they call such attractions mostly Wildbach, and google translate, translates it to whitewater course.

I think though, outside of europe they are not so well known, as for as I'm aware, it was centerparcs (a resort with bungalows, a dome with shops and a dome with an aqua park in a nutshell) were the ones that created them.

But they are almost the same as that OP is describing it.

Ive attached a picture of how they look. But most of the time, they operate without the rafts.
As well its not a lazy river like thing with a real flume in between, like they have in the US, Dubai, or elsewere around the world with big waterparks, as these flumes not in europe are real flume parts, like having a real mini flume between the lazy river parts.

In europe the flumes are integrated into the chanels of the lazy river themselves, so the lazy rivers have height differences.

I would very much love to see this adding to the game, but the option mentioned by the OP is something i can approve already, since that option is known more worldwide.

But.. Lets hope they make something like this happening in the future!
