just remember the new guidelines and rules that come into enforcement on the 28th.

SIGNATURE RULES AND LIMITATIONS
Maximum image file size limit limited to 250KB.
Maximum allowed images per user signature is one.
Animated images (eg: gif image) are not allowed.
Maximum width of an image is 650 pixels.
Maximum height of an image is 150 pixels.
Maximum allowed lines of normal sized text per signature is five.
If text lines are added to a sig they cannot be made larger than the default size.
Lines are not allowed to wrap else they count as additional lines
If an image is added to a signature, and the image is up to 650x150, maximum lines permitted is zero
If an image is added to a signature, and the image is up to 650x120, maximum lines permitted is one
If an image is added to a signature, and the image is up to 650x90, maximum lines permitted is two
If NO image is added to a signature, maximum lines of text permitted is five.
Quote, code, and/or special bbcode that consumes lines of text, count as two lines each.
Links do not count as special bbcodes but must adhere to the links rules
Empty lines of text count as a line / additional line to a signature.

Hi Mobius,



I was looking to have something like the symbol I have now for avatar, signature and (if it becomes an option) a ship logo/symbol. Apart from the 'Z' - no other text.


I like the semi-hidden eye but I failed to get the 'Z' to stand out (as if it were at 90 or 45 degs from the page). The font not quite right and the shadowing doesn't shadow. I like green and purple primarily because they are rarely seen together but the 'Z' seemed to either be lost or turn pink if made lighter.

I achieved the something simple enough to be an easily identifiable symbol but failed on all other accounts.

I've kept it almost identical to your original and made it appear more 3D. let me know how this feel.

signature 1 is small enough for 2 lines of text while Signature 2 is small enough for 1 line.

gone for your original request. there is a lot of text and images to be included but I have done my best with it.

and also done my interpretation of your request. text has been shortened but still has impact and anyone who knows their scifi will know that the quote comes from Gkar.

take your pic as they are both saved so changes can be made.

I don't understand! why this %$#@ signature is not showing??? here in Brazil, there is a forum where when I change my sig, all my posts - both old and new - start show it. And why is so difficult to my new sig to appear here?!?:S

Alternatively, save the image to your PC, upload to a hosting service of your choice, use the URL of the image on that serviice in your signature.

Try Photobucket - it's free, with minimal signing-up stuff (there are other hosts).

The problem is I never used any of those "hosting services" before! I simply cannot understand why someone - anyone - would waste time using something like that when we have our own PCs to save stuff like images, etc.
