Modified/Additional Path Setting

One of the biggest issues I continue to have with the game is how the paths warp when different sizes are connected up, especially when one section was part of a grid before being warped by a connecting path. Depending on how much time I'm willing to spend doing the tedious method versus how much it bugs me when stuff doesn't line up right, I'll either make all my 8m paths on a 4m grid so that I can branch of as necessary, or only use an 8m grid and not bother with smaller paths.

I'd love it if there were an option to click-and-drag paths on a grid to fill in rectangular areas rather than filling in the grid one square at a time, and/or if one could activate a "full map grid" setting and have every path that's a multiple of the chosen grid size (1-5m) automatically snap to it in grid mode (kind of like when you're placing buildings of different sizes in the same group, but everywhere), rather than every section of path having it's own grid to line up to.
