I was thinking the other day that it would be pretty cool if you could fly to a station, and purchase parts for other ships. Then pay to have the parts transported to another station. This would be easier and more realistic then current settings. Another idea is to have it to where if I want to have ship with a class (A) build, but the parts aren't at the station there should be an option to have all the parts sent to the station you are currently at of course you would pay shipping fees as well as a conveniency fee for not having to find the parts it would be like 10 to 20 percent of the total cost this would also be a great way to create missions for other players.
