Module Storage to be doubled for 3.0

They also don't have that Horizons roadmap above their head and this year they can finally work on all the improvements the community wants. So it must feel good for them to make so many people happy.

They love their game, we love their game, we all want it to be better and 2018 is a big year for that.

Delivering Season 2 was, I suspect, a royal pain in the neck, and a largely thankless one at that (I for one didn't value much of Season 2). We also still have all those permit locked systems awaiting us... So there is still room for Season 2 to surprise us.

Season 3 is all core game improvements and I think everyone is a lot cooler with that with most of it above the waterline... Visibility makes it much easier to deal with in terms of community communication, and everyone is a lot happier delivering good news!

Its really not.

I didn't even know there were storage limits on modules. I think I have 5-10 modules in storage at any one time.
So its currently 60? .... do people actually hit this limit?

LoL oh yeah! I currently have 6 ships just for module storage! Doubling the capacity will lessen the pressure of this but probably not remove it...

Btw, am I the only one who thinks Sandro et al. seem way more relaxed and upbeat lately, and way less cagey and anxious in their answering? :)

It's just there are lot's of cool features coming this year. It's easy to be relaxed. If this year would be just playing for more time to upcoming updates next year he would not be relaxed. It's like presenting really good work to client. You can stand behind your work and just relax and enjoy the feedback.

Was interesting to note he said there was more stuff coming than originally planned.

Q. Any plans to stop players from permanently boosting their ship engines? (specifically as it’s causing issues during battle)
A. Yes, this will be looked at as it should not be at a loss of tactics during battle.

Can someone explain that one to me? What's with that "permanently boosting engines" (?)

this one I didn't like the look of. Not too sure what it is for exactly, unless it's about that other thread I saw about a guy who has a problem with our engineered boost capacity?

Anyhoo, big yay for more module slots. Maybe I can now sell some of my storage ships!

I think it was to do with the fact that during PvP players can just keep boosting and boosting to get out of danger without any downsides. Sandro and the OP who asked the question felt that it was not good and there needed to be some 'penalty' for doing it, like (for example!) engines overheating if it's done for too long.
