More ED Tattoos!

Did some more drawings/paintings for my Elite Dangerous tattoo flash sheet. I'm still adding more, but I figured I'd share my progress! :D

I'd like the stylised logo that comes up on the Elite Splash Screen. It's a cool silhouette while being generic enough to not raise eyebrows.

I love the Pirate TAT, though.

Like the artwork, but I just don't get why anyone would tattoo anything on their body. Let alone something as transient as a video game, even something with the astounding longevity of Elite. Put it on canvas. Or on a screen saver. Odds are, your taste will change dramatically over time. No need to make it as permanent as life.

Some people tattoo the names of their girl/boyfriends, and we all know how often some of those last :p

Cool stuff OP, I see the "I consign your remains to the void" one being popular outside the ED crowd.

I'm just a huge fan of tattoo artwork and a huge fan of Elite! these weren't commissioned or anything, that's just the style I love to work in! :D

Thanks, man! The pirate eagle was my first inspiration for this sheet, so I'm glad you dig it! My first idea for the Imperial insignia was to write "BASK IN HIS GREATNESS" like some imperial stations have written on them, but then the emperor kind of became a woman and I didn't know if I should write "her" and be accurate, or I should still keep what's actually written on the stations!

I think similarly to you. Or at least thought that way until a friend of mine told me about the tats on his sleeve. It was great really, because he had a story to go along with each picture. A star destroyer to remember a friend long passed though they shared a great interest for the films. Some ninja turtles to represent his nicknames for his brothers when they were little. A small bow and flower (I think) for his daughter, and the list goes on. Personally, I've never been creative enough to represent my memories as such, but others can.

Its like piercings, or owning a gun. Each person has their reasons, even if it is "no reason".

Wow, I really love that one with the eagle.

I imagine a coriolis station would look decent too, maybe with a quote like "Docking request denied" :D

You're a beautiful scientist. Some people out there just enjoy being impulsive. No idea if I play E: D in three years, but if I die in two the tattoo will make my corpse prettier surely!

At least you may get 8+ years out of one of EssentialNPC's ones before considering railgun removal treatment.

Good effort! Need to see one on the skin though :D Would some kind of nostalgia wireframe Sidey work in ink?
