More reptiles

Well, we currently have five confirmed reptiles (six if the gharial is indeed real): Boa Constrictor, Giant Galapagos Tortoise, Komodo Dragon, Lesser Antillean Iguana, and Saltwater Crocodile. I'm predicting we'll get a few more snakes, possibly a gaboon viper or tree python. I can also see us getting some more lizards like a gila monster or chameleon.

I guess we could place an empty terrarium and call it a chameleon exhibit with decent success.
Whenever I'm at a zoo I play a game "Find a chameleon" (Or green iguana if they don't have chameleons). My win rate isn't stellar.

The worst thing is when some kid walking past casually says "OOh, a chameleon! Awesome" and I have to sneakily look where is he/she looking and yeah, sure enough, it was right under my bloody nose!

Kids are impressive with finding hidden animals. When I was in the zoo a few weeks ago, there was a little girl, age maybe five, that found them all. I began to stalk her secretly to see the animals too. My attempt wasn't as sneaky as I supposed it was and she asked me, if she shall help me find them :D Best guide ever.

squee I'm super excited!! This statement makes me so thrilled.
Depends. :)
Do reptiles and other "decorative" animals count towards the overall number of animals in PZ?
"Tip of the iceberg" could mean anything from 10 to 20 species and if they count towards the announced numbers, that's like what, a fourth of the whole number?

In which case I'd rather have fewer reptiles and more "normal" animals.

It was confirmed that the 50 animals communicated are only the "non-terrarium" animals.
So in we get more than 50 different types of animals at release.

Yeah Bo did clarify (on Reddit I believe) that the 50 animals include the terrarium animals.

They've said more than 50, but I wouldn't expect it to go over 60 though.

That is why I'm not on Reddit. To much unclear and unofficial stuff going on.
And the mood there seems to be more on the negative side.
(reading this: Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/PlanetZoo/comments/cj0as4/the_terrarium_hate/
and my neck hairs are rising. Not for the OP, but the comments)

Although I do recall a post on this forum somewhere where it was said the "50" do not contain the terrarium ones, it's no big deal to me.

50+ is also a way to describe the number of animals. (y)

Thanks for clarifying Bo.
