More Splash Screens!

I personally would love one, where first theres nothing, but then from the top of the screen a binturong hangs down, yawning into the camera.

Awesome. Really hope to see it when I start the Game tomorrow. A new SSD will arrive tomorrow so I'll be able to finally play again

It certainly has been awhile since we've gotten a splash screen, amiright? Currently, we have 6:
Y'all, I want more. I want at least 1 splash screen per DLC. We're missing:
Now, in y'all's opinion, how do you picture them occuring? Here's what I'd do:

- Common ostrich running - base game
- Baby African elephant destroying logo - base game
- Mandrill sniffing "screen" - base game
- Polar bear wiping snow off "screen" - Arctic DLC
- Red kangaroo kicking logo - Australia DLC
- Grey seal barking at us - Aquatic DLC

- Southeast Asia animal pack
- Africa DLC
- North America animal pack
- Europe DLC
- Wetlands animal pack
- Conservation DLC
- Twilight DLC
- Grasslands animal pack
Now, in y'all's opinion, how do you picture them occuring? Here's what I'd do:
- South America - I'd want some capuchins walk onto the screen and start climbing around the logo, jumping, etc. Then they all run off
- Africa - I think that having a rhino charge at the logo would be fun, then back up last minute, like it's hesitating
- Deluxe - I can see a Komodo dragon creep it's way into view, stick out its tongue a couple times, then creep off
- Conservation - I can picture a horse bucking, then trotting off
- Wetlands - some otters are swimming around the logo then swim off
- Twilight - a raccoon pops up into view and stares at the camera for a bit, then ducks back down
- North America - some beavers begin bringing wood and mud and cover the screen
- Southeast Asia - some babirusas see each other and start fighting, then they run off
- Europe - a lynx jumps on top of the globe and starts grooming itself, then hops down and leaves
- Grasslands - a bunch of butterflies start "migrating" across the screen
- Aquatic 2 - penguins slide into view onto the other side
- South America 2 - llamas come and spit at the camera
- Arctic 2 - a wolf is seen lying down, it yawns, them gets up and leaves
- Deluxe 2 - gazelles jump over the logo
- Africa 2 - some meerkats appear and stand up, synchronized, then go back down and run away
- Conservation 2 - a leopard pounces on the globe, then starts playing with it
- Twilight 2 - red foxes are pouncing and playing
- Wetlands 2 - some lechwes walk across the screen
- North America 2 - a moose walks into view, stops, sees the screen, then runs towards it and knocks it down
- Australia 2 - a koala is seen grabbing onto the screen, them climbs down and walks away
- Southeast Asia 2 - a sun bear sits down and starts sticking out its tongue
- Europe 2 - a fallow deer walks into view, stands still for a moment, then trots away
- Grasslands 2 - some wildebeests run across the screen. Then, a baby follows behind. The resulting stampede causes the logo to drop
Reviving this thread again. Here's hoping we get some new ones in the update, maybe 1 with the Tropical pack
Here's one for each animal in the pack:
- Lar Gibbon: Sits on top of letters, jumps down, branchiates along the bottom of the letters, and leaps off-screen.
- Red River Hog: Walks by and either sniffs the logo or the screen.
- Fossa: Jumps on top of letters, tries to jump on the globe, he falls off, globe rolls away, runs off screen
- Asian Water Monitor: Comes on screen, tries to wrestle down the R, knocks down half the logo
- Brown-Throated Three-Toed Sloth: Comes down and gets REALLY close to the screen, reaches out and touches it, knocking it over/tilting it
I love them partly because normally it is one of the only surprises really left on release day and even then you might not see the new one for a while. Also the screens aren't always related to the DLC content so we could see one not related to the animals in the pack. E.g. a mixed band of lemurs playing all over the globe or a crane puncturing the globe with its beak and getting it stuck.... ideas are endless!
