Most fun ship for each role? Getting away from the Anaconda for a bit!

CZs/RES: FAS or Vulture
Trading: T-6
Passengers: Orca
Exploration: Dolphin
Generic Mission Running: Cobra IV / Asp Scout / Adder

Pure fun: DBS

Just tallied up the top picks and edited the OP, in case that saves any of you time who might've been wondering the results of this impromptu "survey" :p thanks again all! I got some outfitting to do ;)

CZ/RES: FAS, Orca, Vulture, Courier, Vette
Trading: Cutter
Passengers: No ship makes this fun
Exploration Ship: AspX
Generic Mission Running: Python/Asp depending on mission type and distances

Wow Indigo, that was a fun video.

I love my Beluga but I have not tried combat with it. However, I have armed mine for running with 4 mine launchers. Twice when I had no passengers on board I submitted to the interdiction to test out my theory/tactics. Both times I got the kill by getting the aggressor on my six and launching a flurry of mines for them the fly through (or into :) ).

I have yet to be pulled from SC in my Beluga; it maneuvers so well for such a big ship. GL HF and thanks for the video

Greetings, Commanders!

I've been using the Anaconda as a multi-purpose ship for quite some time now to do all types of missions/money running, and want to diversify my fleet. So, I thought it'd be fun to get your opinions on your favorite ship for each role, and a brief one-liner as to why you like it.

Format as follows for simplicity:

CZs/RES: Ship A
Trading: Ship B
Passengers: Ship C
Exploration: Ship D
Generic Mission Running: Ship E

P.S. - Medium landing pads preferred, as I don't even remember the last time I landed at an output :D haha

EDIT: Since a decent amount of people responded (many thanks!) I decided I'd do a brief summary of the top picks for each role to save some of you time if you're only here to read.

CZ/RES: FDL or Vulture
Trading: Python
Passengers: Dolphin or Beluga
Exploration: DBX or ASPx
Generic Mission Running: Python

I have both Dolphin and Beluga .... Dolphin is way more useful and handles better than the Beluga and therefore feels more fun, unless you like carrying a SLF and also crossing your fingers (flippers?) every time you pass through the slot :D

Although ... having watched Indigo's video ......

Think I might have to re-equip my Beluga with plasma weapons [noob]

Python, gets in everywhere, do everything, mod it, is a fun flyer, much better than a Conda. Covers all your categories.

Corvette, just because and combat in PvE w/ wing support PvP. Can carry cargo and passengers, securely.

FDL, Kingslayer. PvE, PvP.

Cobra, cheap fun.

CZ/RES: FDL - 2 railguns tear through powerplants with ease
Trading: Python - over 200 tons of space with decent speed from g3 dirty drives
Passengers: Don't have one. haven't done anything with passengers
Exploration/fuel ratting: Asp X - class 6 fuel scoop to go from empty to full in 90 seconds, and I can bring all my exploration toys or enough limpets to rescue 2 ships. Fully loaded max jump range is 41 ly. Cobra mk III is close second. Just goes stupidly fast once I press that boost button and runs super cold.
Generic Missions: Python - what can I say? It is the do-everything of the medium ships. Call it the mini-conda.

Obligatory "try a drop ship with 5 MCs with rapid fire, and a mixture of auto-reload and corrosive" post. That, kids, is great fun. It's about the most fun you can have in a filthy federal ship (with or without clothes on).

CZ/RES: Anaconda
Trading: Cutter
Passengers: Anaconda
Exploration Ship: Anaconda
Generic Mission Running: Anaconda

Sooooo sorry to break it to you TS but the Anaconda is good :) HOWEVER......

Mining: Cutter
Base scanning runs for CIF: DBX
Smuggling and sightseeing: Asp X
Data Courier: Courier
Guardian Ruins: DBX (I used an Asp X last time and was a bit tough to land it)
