Horizons Most Graphics Options removed??

Hey All,

I did notice after the new patch most of the graphics options been removed like Super Sampling up to 2x. I also noticed thhnigs like shadows and such are not there in the options menu anymore whay has this been done..

I don't like the idea of not being to turn off details I don't like, like shadows.. Or are these options still available somewhere else??

Nvidia? Check its Control Panel right-click desktop). DSR is better than SuperSampling so try enable it instead as Global Apps then select it in the Game and it will appear in the Experience as Optimized. Best FSP and smooth.

Each section is now organised into dropdown sub menus. Click on the + icon to expand each menu. Same deal with the sound & controller options screen.

Yes I have seen the dropdown menus but some of the options just are not there. either they are not there or I have not looked at them properly.. I will go in there now to look..

As for the DSR I can not use it as I run dual monitors and that option is NOT available for us.. which kinda sucks I would like to be able to use DSR ..

They are all definitely there on the PC version. No idea about DSR, I run in VR and set SS using the oculus tool

EDIT: I just seen your post can you post a screen shot I will try and do the same.. I am using the PC version of Horizons 64bit..

Well I ran repair and it seemed to have fixed the problem.. seems like when I did the update the options did not transfer over.. I have it fixed now thank you

Well maybe my reply was to hasty, I just went back in to tweak again and all the options that where just tere after repair are gone again.. I am unsure what has happened but they definitely disappeared..

Do I need to select a certain something to have them appear or are they sup[posed to disappear like that after I set the options??

Options should be permanent, perhaps log a ticket. Haven't seen anyone else report this issue. Are you saying you click on all 3 dropdowns and nothing appears?

Sounds like the Geforece Experience is overriding it. Open both, make your changes again after you find them again, make a change e.g. Off/On with Saving something, save in game and in Experience Move Slider to Full and Apply to Optimize it rather selecting only the Optimize button.

I don't have GeForce Experience installed.. but I think I found the problem.. If I navigate the options menu with my Joystick the options are not there. but If I navigate with my Mouse all the options appear Weird but at lease I got a workaround.. maybe it don't like my Joystick it is a Thrustmaster HOTASS Cougar..
