Most impressive Stations and Places in the ED Galaxy

Hello fellow Commanders!
I would love to see as many beautiful locations as possible.
So what stations and/or places you have visited are in your opinion most impressive or beautiful?
The inside of stations also count :)

Epsilon Indi. A landable moon thats orbits so fast you see the planet rise and every minute or so, and is quite fun to try and land on.

Orion Nebula tourist center. Asteroid base in a gas giants ring, overlooking barnards ring. Gorgeous site.

Neutron Nebula. Awesome blue purple nebula with a landable planet orbitting a neutron star. High up aboyt 3/4 to sagA

Definitely this ^^^ - the moon is called Mitterand Hollow "the moon that lands on you" and it's a must-see.

I'd also recommend taking a trip out to some of the installations such as those at San Tu and LFT 926 as featured in my thread over here (which also features loads of capital ship docks and asteroid base locations):

Finally, BD-12 1172 (in the Spirograph nebula) still gets my vote for most beautiful system in the galaxy (that I've been to so far) ..

Ooh, and you should take a trip out to Betelgeuse 2 as well ..

No stations, never been to sol and none of my favourite places are in or even close to the bubble. I have a collection of bookmarks to locations I particularly enjoy like one of my own discoveries...twin ELW binaries, one of which is ringed...my best ever discovery tagged by yours truly. Deep canyons that are 2km deep...they used to be a lot more common, nowadays they are exceedingly rare which is a great shame. The game lost something when they took those out bout a year or so back.

Stations bore me...they more or less all the exact same as each other anyway with only small graphical variations on each other that make them different. Exploration is about seeing what has never been seen before...sadly much that was unique has all but vanished under a pasty beige landscape of cookie dough. One hopes the improvements touted fer arrival in the spring will reignite my passion fer such things...currently one is merely going through the motions and not really exploring anymore because theres nothing to find that hasnt already been found ^

Only if the cookies are made with a special recipe. An explorer who likes nice things to look at...where do they spend most of their game time? Not looking at station designs, more in the black...whats depressing about that?

If you're out near Colonia, station's I'd recommend visiting either because the station itself looks good or because you can get an impressive view from there:
- Foster Terminal, Coeus (if you only have time for one)
- Moore's Charm, Luchtaine
- Prisma Renata, Aurora Astrum
- The Bone Yard, Canis Subridens
- Concordia Hub, Edge Fraternity Landing (visit at sunrise or sunset - it's not particularly interesting otherwise)
(Lots of other stations there are far nicer than those near the Sol bubble - being near such a large nebula adds interest to even the more routine facilities)

Near the Sol bubble, the Veil West nebula is definitely worth a visit, as is NGC 7822 ... or a bit further out in that direction, the Bubble Nebula.

at cubeo you will find an external shipdock for the real huge ships @chelomney
cubeo? doesnt exist in the database. could you tell me the real name pls?

Check out Vonarburg Co-operative in Wyrd system, that the best station interior I ever saw.
also irkutsk in alioth is one like vonarburg. i am looking for more like these, orbis starports with gardens, palmtrees and nice light setting...does anyone know some?

eddb and inara say nope 🤷‍♂️
Don't think so. Maybe their search is case sensitive or you have some filters, like distance limiter, in place?

Are you searching for a station, or a system? Cubeo is a system (Aisling Duval's HQ)
read the threat title and my post again ;)

if someone writes "at cubeo you will find an external shipdock for the real huge ships " i assume he talks about a station. yes i look for stations, the most beautiful ones interior wise (with gardens, palmtrees and fancy stuff and with a beautiful view) :)
