Most Underrated Primate

Hoatzins??? The only place I know that ever held them was Bronx, I'd be pretty shocked if some small place managed to get them.
I've actually never been to the Bronx zoo. They are my favorite bird and a unique one, so there is no way I was mistaken about what I saw. It's possible they weren't kept there legally. They seemed terrified of people and were keeping to the top corner of their enclosure in a very out-of-the-way spot. I didn't stay too long because I didn't want to stress them further.

Delacour’s langurs and Javan langurs seems really underrated to me:

Also long legged and mostly terrestrial patas monkeys from the savanna’s of central Africa:

I would love a all primate animal pack 🤩

I never thought I'd say this, but I put down a vote for cotton top tamarins.

I saw them at the ACT zoo and they are actually really cool to watch and cute.

I honestly think the mantled guereza is underrated. I agree we need more SA monkeys but the mantled guereza is also essential for me. I've seen it in almost every zoo I've been too.

Other than that, there is one primate that is never mentioned and that I really like: the owl-faced monkey. I did not even know it existed a few years ago but then it arrived at Antwerp Zoo and it's now my favorite monkey to see when I go there. It's very endangered and Antwerp has been very successful with them, getting a baby almost every year. So they have a special place in my heart. Not at all essential for the game but would be a nice oddball addition for sure.

Man, I don't even like primates that much. I'm really not a huge primate fan. But we need many more monkeys in the game to build realistic zoos.

Maroon and Silvered Leaf Monkeys.

I saw them in Borneo and they are gorgeous.

They should share a guest-friendly habitat together like the lemurs, throw some langurs in there too for good measure. They're pretty small and live in big family groups.
