Mouse Coordinates for use with VoiceAttack

Mouse Coordinates for VoiceAttack

Hello Commanders, CMDR Fury here,

I have been working on mouse coordinates for VoiceAttack I use A.S.T.R.A which I highly recommend and thought I would share with you all what I have so far. You can find the awesome voice packs here http://hcsvoicepacks.com/

Couple of things to note before we start.

1. This was done using 1980x1050 resolution on a 47" monitor so it may not be exact for your system, however, should be pretty easy to extrapolate the coord's on different resolutions.

2. While on the Galaxy Map, don't scroll up and down on the side panel as that will change coordinates, everything works as if you just open the galaxy map and don't touch anything.

3. My primary reason for doing this is to have Astra be able to open the galaxy map and plot a course to a system and then close map. Which is very awesome and fun to do. Note it works best if you run your command from inside your ship with galaxy map closed or while sitting docked at a station. I will put a Plot Course example in at the end of the post.

Ok on to the coordinates.

Wall of text much?? lol :D

Ok here is a VA command I use to plot a course to Fujin, this works for any system, however you will have to adjust the Plot course coords at the end depending on distance to system, and the angle of target reticule takes.

Play sound, '{VA_SOUNDS}\hcspack\rank\commander\yes commander.mp3'
Execute command, '((Galaxy Map))' (and wait until it completes)
Pause 4 seconds
Move mouse cursor to (188,151)
Click left mouse button
Pause 0.5 seconds
Move mouse cursor to (188,250)
Click left mouse button
Pause 0.3 seconds
Press F key and hold for 0.096 seconds and release
Pause 0.288 seconds
Press U key and hold for 0.096 seconds and release
Pause 0.16 seconds
Press J key and hold for 0.112 seconds and release
Pause 0.111 seconds
Press I key and hold for 0.095 seconds and release
Pause 0.623 seconds
Press N key and hold for 0.079 seconds and release
Press Enter key and hold for 0.111 seconds and release
Pause 5 seconds <---- See Note 1 below
Move mouse cursor to (1140,490) <----See Note 2 Below
Click left mouse button
Pause 0.3 seconds
Play sound, '{VA_SOUNDS}\hcspack\Elite Dangerous Rare Goods\zaonce trade run\zaonce trade run_0023.mp3'
Execute command, '((Galaxy Map))' (and wait until it completes)

Note #1 May have to adjust this depending on distance to destination system.
Note #2 This line you will have to adjust the coord's per system once you see where mouse cursor is after the reticule moves to destination system.

As always it's a work in progress so if you commanders find/have a better way please share!! lol

Good Luck and Safe Travels!

Fury out

Made a couple of edits for clarity, and reserving this space for the upcoming how to plot a course in Voice Attack, such as a trade route.

You could also check out VoiceMacro (link below in my sig) - imo it's far more powerful and flexible tool than VA.
In my profile on VM (also in my sig, included along with voice pack) I've created a command 'Establish trade route' (based on original VM's author clever command :)) that will automatically plot a route of bidirectional trade route for you based on 2 system names that you can easily edit in VM anytime you need. No more messing with galaxy map before launch - just say a command and off you go! ;)

Ok cool will check it out thanks for the heads up, however, I am very fond of Astra, she is literally my ship so may be hard to replace her. lol

Sure! But you know, you can just assign Astra audio responses to VM too. I just want to point you guys to multiple solutions. You've mentioned above a way to plot a route in VA - I would just suggest another approach and possibilities. The choice is invariably yours. ;)

Wow very nice, take your rep and thanks a lot!
I can already see "Show me scoopable stars" to directly show the map and check the relevant star classes.

Oh yes. As an explorer (mainly) the Cartographic section is of great importance to me, it has to have to offer flexibility and functionality. I will constantly improve and update these profiles so you might want to check it out occasionally. If you like some solutions - grab it and adopt it your way either in VA or VM.
Hell, let's create one versatile profile for ED! :D
