Mouse position in map

Running Windows 7 and the mouse curosr is giving me some grief.


  1. I am unable to click on anything via the galaxy map
  2. The icon looks oversized and it's 2D

Does anyone else experience this?

The mouse is not for DK2/VR, put it aside and add the controls to your HOTAS. then rotate into isometric view and you will see a selection circle you can control on a 2D plane to select planets.
Works perfectly.

Thanks for this info I totally forgot you could configure the HOTAS to navigate it. I will set mine up to do this now. The Map has been my one and only gripe using the dk2

I used to have a problem with the map too untill i realized i could tilt the map with left click. Then, instead of navigating with the mouse, use WASD to move the blue selector tool and hover it over to the star. Then i zoom in as far as i can and use my mouse to click on the star. I have no issues anymore using the galaxy map with the dk2 and a Mouse and Keyboard.
