Move on from Cobra to type 6 trader. Help me a bit?!

I've got a cobra that I use for the $150k assasination missions. I have about $1.5m and, just to change things up a bit, am debating that 1,045,000 trading ship type 6 so I can engage in both roles.

1 - Will I make more credits trading in that trader than doing my assassination missions?

2 - I seriously can't find a rare trading guide. I have done "normal" trading but not rare trading. Can someone point me to a guide or give me a quick pointer.

3 - Any other tips on trading in a type 6?

Thanks!

I've just moved from a fully kitted out cobra to a type 6. I made sure I had enough credits to upgrade the cargo space to 98, better power plant and FSD.

How do you manage assassination missions? I managed one for an Imperial promotion; the target was just an imperial clipper, but when I tried one of the cr150k ones, the target was an Elite Anaconda. I couldn't get in his blind spot, my shields were half-gone before I could touch his... I had to abort. Is the target not always that tough maybe? I haven't wanted to try it again to find out because of the massive reputation loss it cost me that time.

Shield cells, B rated for more charges. Use em before your shields are fully depleted. If you're even fair at combat flying that will be enough for you to kill a 'Conda.

This.

I'm a decent pilot and only have to use a couple now but, when you start, you can just spam shields and WORK npc condas. It is still a "fight"...but the shields make npcs easy.

Will I make more trading in my type 6 than I do in my conda with about 2 assassination missions every 1.5 hours (I have to land and re fuel/repair each time)? What is the best profit approach for trading in the type 6. And how much does the needed FSD run?

Thanks!
